Hoolyeh International Folkdance Health Policy
Updated March 2024
Folkdancing involves physical exertion and close contact with many people and is therefore associated with greater risk of viral transmission than other common activities.
Our Health Policy was created by an informal Hoolyeh Committee. This policy is intended to keep our community and dancers as safe, healthy, and happy as possible. Be mindful of others’ variable comfort levels, especially with respect to personal space and level of touch.
- Feeling unwell? Please stay home.
- Vaccinations are encouraged.
- Masks are optional.
Please provide an email address for contact tracing, if needed (gathered at folkdance events).
During events, we will provide ventilation and unscented hand sanitizer.
Hoolyeh presents fragrance free events.
